There are a lot of wedding photographers out there, why work with me?

The first ten years of my photography were spent in landscapes and photojournalism. At first blush, that might not seem especially relevant to weddings, parties, and elopements. Allow me to change your mind.

 

Whether it's a wedding, baby shower, or birthday party, my photography is all about capturing the fleeting, spontaneous moments of connection and joy we have with our loved ones and preserving them for you to keep forever.

In photojournalism, if you miss the moment, you don't get published. If you don't get published, you don't get paid. Nobody pays their rent with blurry photographs.

Ten years of rigorous photojournalism work gave me a keen eye for capturing just the right moment and being invisible while it happens. That first kiss, first dance, first look, like any history-making moment, only happens once. I'll make sure to photograph it beautifully.
